VISIT THE LEWISTOWN FARMERS MARKET
Lewistown has an active Farmers Market at Simms Park. It is open on Saturday mornings, 8:00 am until 12:00 noon from the first Saturday after July 4 until the end of September. The Market is under the Lewistown Parks Department, Jim Daniels, supervisor. A playground is available to children while the adults shop.
Many long time vendors return each year and new ones are welcome. Some of the yearly returning vendors products available are: fruits, vegetables, jellies, syrups, herbs, flowers, baked items, craft items, photo pictures, and candles just to name a few.
Spaces are available for anyone who wishes to have a booth. Please contact Jim Daniels, the market manager, at 366-2320 or jdaniels@lewistown.k12.mt.us or Marie Hoyer at 538-9181 or marlee@midrivers.com for further information and a copy of the Market’s bylaws.
A banner is hung at the corner of Ridgelawn Avenue and Main Street during hours of the market. No fresh eggs, cream products or animals, may be sold or given away. Pets are discouraged from attending the Market.
We hope you’ll have a chance to join us and sample the bounty of locals gardens and simultaneously get acquainted with many of our wonderful local residents.
