ENJOY MOTOCROSS RACING IN CENTRAL MONTANA
Hi, my name is Leslie Colver. My husband and I own the Colver MX Track, located on our ranch six miles north of Lewistown on Highway 191. There is a large sign designating the turnoff. We have exceptional facilities for any rider to enjoy, whether they are experienced or new to motocross.
Many riders from across the state compliment our facilities and I was told that we missed getting the Track of the Year award by a very narrow margin. The entire track is visible and we encourage anyone to come and watch the riders.
On a typical spring evening you can find 20 to 25 riders on the track and even more in the summer. The track is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on the weekends from noon to 9 p.m. Season passes are available or you can pay a daily rider fee. Each rider is required to sign a waiver and follow all rules. Les Bush will be the track manager this year and will be available at the track on riding nights.
We have had three very successful years and are looking forward to this upcoming year. A state point race is held at our track each year. It is scheduled for Sunday, August 6. The past few races have brought 350 riders and over 1,200 fans. This is just one of the 12 races that are officially sanctioned by the High Country Motocross Association. The race season starts on April 22 in Anaconda and ends on August 27 in Billings. The annual awards banquet will be held in October.
